Instructions
  1. For preparing fenugreek leaves with dal vadai, heat 1 tsp of ghee in a pan and roast the dal vadi¦s for 2 minutes. Remove and keep aside.
  2. Heat the remaining ghee in the same pan and crackle the cumin seeds.
  3. Then add in the grated ginger, salt, turmeric powder, chilly powder and coriander powder. Fry it for 2 minutes on low flame.
  4. Pour in the tomato puree and fry till the ghee separates.
  5. Toss in the roasted dal vadi¦s, peas, potato and fenugreek leaves.
  6. Add 2 cups of water and allow it to cook covered on a low flame till they become tender.
  7. Cook for some more time and add a little more water, if required.
  8. Garnish with garam masala. Serve hot with chapattis.
  9. Fenugreek leaves with dal vadai is ready. Serve hot.
