I made this powder not very spicy and is perfect as a side dish for idli/dosa/chapati. Garlic and curry leaves add flavor of this powder.

  • garlic 10no. –
  • curry leaves 1 cup –
  • Red chili 5 no. –
  • urad dal 1/2 cup –
  • asafoetida 1 tsp –
  • Salt : 1 tsp –
  1. dry roast the curry leaves
  2. dry roast the garlic
  3. add urad dal and fry it until it turn into golden color
  4. and also dry roast the red chili
  5. add salt and allow to cool and make as a powder by grinding it with out water
  6. garlic curry leaves powder is ready
