Instructions
  1. For preparing glazed caramel custard, caramelize 1/2 cup sugar in a heavy skillet.
  2. Glaze the bottom of and sides of the custard cups with the caramelized sugar.
  3. Combine the remaining sugar with eggs, vanilla essence, milk cream and salt. Pour it into the custard cups.
  4. Place the cups in a pan of hot water and bake it in the oven at 180 degrees celsius(350 degreed F) for 35 minutes or until it becomes firm and a knife inserted in the centre comes out clean.
  5. Invert the caramel custard on a serving dish. Allow it to cool and put it in the refrigerator.
  6. Glazed caramel custard is ready. Serve chilled.
