Cauliflower cooked in a tasty and tangy curry

  1. Boil cauliflower florets and the peas in salted water along with 1/2 tsp of turmeric powder, till it is cooked half.
  2. Heat oil in a pan.
  3. Add onions and saute for 1 – 2 mins.
  4. Add in ginger-garlic paste and saute till onion turn brown.
  5. Add cumin powder, coriander powder, garam masala powder, remaining turmeric powder, sugar and salt and stir thoroughly for a while.
  6. Add tomato puree, tomato ketchup and saute it till oil separates.
  7. Add in half cooked cauliflower florets and cook for 5 – 10 mins on a low heat, covered, till gobi is cooked.
  8. Garnish with chopped coriander leaves.
  9. :- Serve with roti or pulao.
