Instructions
  1. For preparing gram flour dhokla, in a bowl, mix in gram flour, water and sour yogurt to make a smooth lump free batter. Keep it aside for 5 hours.
  2. Then add in green chilly paste, ginger paste, and salt to the batter. Mix well.
  3. In another small bowl, mix soda-bi-carb and 1 tbsp of water. Keep it aside.
  4. Heat water in a steamer.
  5. Grease a flat vessel.
  6. Add soda-bi-carb into the flour mixture and mix well. Pour the batter immediately into flat greased vessel.
  7. Place it into the steamer for about 15 minutes.
  8. Then remove the flat vessel from the oven. Allow it to cool and then cut into squares.
  9. Heat oil in a vessel, splutter mustard seeds and cumin seeds.
  10. Then toss in the curry leaves and remove it from the flame.
  11. Pour this seasoning on the dhokla¦s.
  12. Garnish with coriander leaves.
  13. Gram flour dhokla¦s are ready.
