  • Almonds(crushed) - 1 cup

  • Caster sugar - 5 tbsp
  • Lime juice - 1/2 cup
  • Almond flakes - 1 cup

Instructions
  1. For preparing green apple pie, in a bowl, marinate the green apples with caster sugar and lemon juice. Keep it aside.
  2. In another bowl, rub in maida along with butter with our hands to get a crumbly texture.
  3. Add in crushed almonds, brown sugar, salt and 1/2 cup of almond flakes. Mix it with a spoon.
  4. Place the marinated apples in a baking tray.
  5. On top of it spread the almond mixture evenly.
  6. Garnish with the remaining flaked almonds on top of it.
  7. Bake it in an oven on 200 degrees celcius for 25 minutes.
  8. Remove it from the oven and allow it to cool.
  9. Green apple pie is ready.
