Fish with a combination of potato and vinegar

  • Rawas, bekti or fish of your choice(cleaned and cut into pieces) – 1medium
  • Lemon juice – 1lime
  • Salt(As reqd) –
  • Oil 1tbsp
  • Onion(50 gm)(finely sliced) – 1no
  • Tomato(100 gm)(finely chopped) – 1no
  • Potato(50 gm)(peeled and cubed) – 1no
  • Garam masala powder – 1tsp
  • Turmeric powder(A pinch) –
  • Vinegar(10 ml) – 2tsp
  1. Marinate the fish pieces with lime juice and salt. Keep this aside for 15 minutes.
  2. Heat oil in a pan and saute the sliced onion till light brown.
  3. Add tomato, garam masala powder and potato cubes. Fry well.
  4. Add turmeric powder and saute well.
  5. Cover and cook till done.
  6. Finally, add the marinated fish and vinegar.
  7. Check seasoning.
  8. :- Serve hot with fresh salad.
