  • Carrot(peeled and grated) - 1/2 cup

Instructions
  1. For preparing healthy carrot oats idlis, grind oats and split black gram separately.
  2. Mix both the ground paste together adding required salt.
  3. Keep it aside for 10 hours or overnight.
  4. Mix in the grated carrot well.
  5. Grease the idly moulds with some oil and pour the batter in the moulds.
  6. Steam it in an idly steamer till done.
  7. Remove it from the steamer and allow it to cool.
  8. Remove the idlis from the moulds with a spoon.
  9. Healthy carrot oats idlis are ready. Serve with sambar. :- You may add in finely chopped fresh coriander leaves n green chillies.
