  1. Soak the channa(kadala) overnight.
  2. Add required water and salt and boil it in a pressure cooker.
  3. Heat oil in a pan or a kadai.
  4. Saute all the ingredients other than tomato, coriander leaves and channa.
  5. Add tomatoes and saute it for a while.
  6. When done, add the boiled channa and bring it to boil for a minute.
  7. When its done too, add the finely chopped coriander leaves.
  8. :- Serve hot.
