  1. For preparing the tasty awesome dish, first take a pressure cooker and add washed Chana dal.
  2. Add enough water and a pinch of salt. Pressure cook for 2-3 whistles or till chana dal has cooked well.
  3. Mash the cooked chana dal and add chopped banana.
  4. Combine well.
  5. Add thin coconut milk and mix well with a spoon. Cook it for 5 minutes.
  6. Melt jaggery in half cup water.
  7. Add thick coconut milk, melted jaggery, cardamom, powder, cumin seed powder and mix well. Bring it to boil and remove from the flame. When boiling starts, remove pan from flame otherwise the dish is likely to curdle and get spoilt. This is an easy dish and even newcomers and bachelors can give a hand at the tasty dish.
