  1. For preparing Kadalaparippu Peda, heat up a pan.
  2. Add sugar and 1/4 cup of water.
  3. Boil till it reaches a thread like consistency.
  4. Add the mashed gram and grated coconut into sugar syrup and mix well.
  5. Allow it to thicken.
  6. When it starts to thicken, add butter and cardamom powder. Mix well.
  7. When the mixture starts to leave the sides of the pan, transfer the contents into a plate greased with ghee.
  8. Cut Kadalaparippu Peda into small pieces while it is still hot.
