  • Okra/Ladies fingers - 450 g
  • Onion seeds - 1/2 tsp
  • Green chillies(slit) - 3 nos
  • Onion(finely chopped, big) - 1 no
  • Turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp
  • Coconut(grated) - 2 tsp
  • Yogurt - 1 tbsp
  • Tomatoes(chopped) - 2 nos
  • Coriander leaves(finely chopped) - 2 springs

Instructions
  1. For preparing ladies fingers in yogurt, cut the ladies fingers into 1/2 inch pieces and keep it aside.
  2. Heat the oil in a vessel.
  3. Add in the onion seeds, green chilies and onion. Saute till the onion becomes golden brown in colour.
  4. Then add in turmeric powder, grated coconut and salt. Saute for 1 minute on low flame.
  5. Add the ladies finger pieces into the pan. Stir fry gently for 5 minutes, until the ladies fingers become lightly golden.
  6. Pour in the yogurt, tomatoes and fresh coriander. Allow it to cook for 2 minutes and remove it from the flame.
  7. Ladies fingers in yogurt is ready. Serve as a side dish with rice.
