Maanga Gothsu
Gothsu is a South Indian recipe, used as a side dish for Idli/ dosa/ upma| pongal. Maanga Gothsu is delicious for idli and dosa. i love to have daily in the break fast when the mango season start. This maango gothsu is also an awesome side dish for variety rice.

Ingredients
  • Raw mango 1 no. –
  • red chili 2 no. –
  • coconut 2 tbsp –
  • coriander seed 1/5 tsp –
  • cumin seed 1/5 tsp –
  • roasted gram 1 tsp –
  • Salt to taste –
  • Asafoetida : 1 pinch –
  • Oil: 2 tbsp –
  • mustard 1/4 tsp –
  • turmeric powder 1/5 tsp –
Instructions
  1. peel the skin of mango and chop it
  2. In a blender add red chili, coconut, roasted gram, coriander seed, and cumin seed and grined it by adding little water
  3. heat the oil in a kadai and temper the mustard, asafoetida and add raw mango and salt and mix it
  4. add grinded paste and turmeric powder and mix well
  5. add 1/2 glass of water and allow to cook for 10 minutes in a low flame
  6. now Maanga gotsu is ready to serve
