  • Rice - 1/4 cup
  • Milk - 1/2 litre
  • Milk powder - 1/2 cup
  • Mango juice - 1/2 cup
  • Ripe Mango(peeled) - 1 no
  • Mango essence - 4 drops
  • Sugar - 5 tbsp
  • Almonds - 5 nos
  • Pistachio(flaked) - 1 tbsp
  • Almonds(flaked) - 1 tbsp
  • Cashew nuts(chopped) - 1 tbsp

Instructions
  1. For preparing mango kheer, soak rice in required water for 1/2 an hour. Strain it and keep it aside.
  2. Boil milk in a vessel and add in the soaked rice. Allow the rice to cook on low flame stirring it continuously till the rice is done.
  3. Then add milk powder and sugar. Heat it on low flame till the mixture thickens. Remove from fire and allow it cool.
  4. Fry the cashew nuts in the ghee and crush into small bits.
  5. Mix the cooked rice with crushed nuts, mango juice and mango essence.
  6. Garnish with peeled and cubed mango pieces.
  7. Mango kheer is ready.
