  • Maida – 1cup
  • Sugar 1cup
  • Butter – 3/4cups
  • Baking powder 1tsp
  • Eggs – 2nos
  • Vanilla Essence – 1tsp
  • Milk 2tbsp
  • Coco powder(or u can use cooking chocolate also, dark) – 2tbsp
  1. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees.
  2. Cream the sugar and butter with a mixer till white and fluffy.
  3. Add the eggs and vanilla and mix till it is well blended.
  4. Fold in flour (use a wooden spoon and gently add in).
  5. Add in some milk so that the batter has dropping consistency.
  6. Take 1/3 of the batter and put into the bowl where your chocolate mix well.(but don`t over mix)
  7. Grease the cake tin and layer the bottom part with yellow batter, then, drop the chocolate and yellow batter alternately. After that twirl with a chopstick.
  8. Bake at 180 degree Celsius for until a toothpick inserted on the top of the cake comes out smoothly.
