MIllet Palak Rice
this is a south indian dish ,commonly preferred as a good variety rice ,since it is a good iron rich food.

Ingredients
  • cooked millet rice 1 cup ( i have taken bran yard) –
  • moong dal 1/2 cup –
  • palak chopped 1cup –
  • onions 1 cup –
  • tomatoes chopped 1/2 cup –
  • mustard 1 sp –
  • jeera 1 sp –
  • ginger chopped1/2 sp –
  • Red chillies : 3 nos –
  • oil 5 sp –
  • ghee2 sp –
  • Salt to taste –
Instructions
  1. cook moong dal in water
  2. when half cooked add palak turmeric and 1/2 sp jeera
  3. in a pan add mustard jeera ginger and red chillies
  4. add onions when soft add tomatoes to it
  5. to this add cooked palak and cooked millet rice
  6. stir well with salt and ghee and serve
