Ingredients
  • Daal(cooked) – 1/2cup
  • Ghee(As reqd) –
  • Carrot(grated) – 1tbsp
  • Beet root(grated) – 1tbsp
  • Potato(chopped) – 1/2of
  • garlic(crushed) – 1clove
  • Tomato(finely chopped) – 1/2of
  • Turmeric powder(A pinch) –
  • Green chilly(slit, optional) – 1no
  • Salt(As reqd) –
  • Water(As reqd) –
Instructions
  1. For preparing mixed vegetable curry, first boil the vegetables together and keep aside with the remaining water.
  2. Heat ghee in a pan, add garlic and fry.
  3. Add tomato and saute well.
  4. Add turmeric powder, green chilly, salt and cooked vegetables with remaining water.
  5. Let it boil for 2 minutes.
  6. Add the cooked daal and cover it with a lid and cook for 2 minutes.
  7. Mixed vegetable curry for kids is ready.
  8. Serve it with rice/chappathi.
  9. Can be preserved in fridge for 2 days.
