  • Spring onions(chopped) - 4 springs
  • Tomato(chopped) - 1 no
  • Pepper powder - 1/2 tsp
  • Chilly powder - 1/2 tsp
  • Turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp
  • Coriander leaves(finely chopped) - 2 springs
  • Lime juice - 4 tbsp
  • Coconut oil - 1 tbsp
  • Salt(As reqd) -

Instructions
  1. For preparing mussels in banana leaf, take a bowl and mix in mussels, spring onions, coconut oil, lime juice, tomato, chilly powder, turmeric powder, coriander leaves, salt and pepper. Keep it aside for half an hour.
  2. Take a banana leaf and place the mussels in between and close it. Secure it by tying a thread around it.
  3. Steam the mussel wrapped in banana leaf in an idly vessel. Allow it to cook.
  4. Mussels in banana leaf is ready. Serve as a starter.
