  1. Roast chilly powder, turmeric powder, coriander powder for 3 minutes, and keep it aside.
  2. Cook the chickpeas with roasted masala, salt and water as required.
  3. Heat oil in a kadai pan and splutter mustard in it.
  4. Add tomato, green chilly, onion and garlic. Sauté for 5 minutes.
  5. Add meat masala and sauté again.
  6. Add chickpeas and curry leaves.
  7. Cook for 10 minutes.
