  1. For preparing Pappadam Thoran, first pound the grated coconut with green chillies, curry laves and small onions in a mixer bowl.
  2. Heat oil in a pan or a kadai.
  3. Fry the pappadams the usual way.
  4. Crush the fried pappadams and add salt and the coconut mixture into it.
  5. Mix well the whole thing.
  6. Heat a little oil in a pan or a kadai.
  7. Splutter mustard seeds and saute dry red chillies, chopped small onions and curry leaves.
  8. Add the pappadam-coconut mixture and mix well.
  9. Lower the flame and cook, till done.
