  1. Heat oil in a pan.
  2. Add mustard and let it spurt .
  3. Add the chopped onion and sauté.
  4. Add the red chillies and sauté for a minute.
  5. Add the turmeric powder and saute.
  6. Add the cooked dal and water as needed and wait till it bubbles. Remove from flame and serve.
