  1. Mix Maida, Salt and Egg in a mixing bowl.
  2. Add water and oil/ghee, knead till it turns into soft dough.
  3. Keep it covered for 4 hrs.
  4. Take a lemon size ball from the dough & roll it flat like chapathi.
  5. Fold that chapathi like sari pleats, then roll it from one end to the other end & apply a spoon of oil on it.
  6. Roll it on one side, flat like poori. Prepare all the dough like this.
  7. Heat a tawa and roast both sides of parotta by adding a tsp of oil.
  8. Remove it from heat & press it around the edeges.
