Instructions
  1. For preparing pazham nirachathu, peel the banana`s.
  2. Make a slit on one side of the banana`s.
  3. Heat ghee in a pan and sautT the cashews and keep it aside.
  4. In the same ghee sautT the raisins and keep it aside.
  5. Toss in the grated coconut and mix well.
  6. Add the sugar and mix well. Remove from the flame.
  7. Sprinkle cardamom powder and mix well.
  8. Mix in the cashews and raisins. Keep it aside.
  9. Stuff the slit of the banana with the coconut mixture and keep it aside.
  10. Repeat the procedure with the remaining banana.
  11. In a bowl mix maida, sugar, water and salt to make a thick batter.
  12. Heat oil in a deep frying pan.
  13. Dip the plantains in the batter. Fry it in oil on low flame till it becomes cooked and brown in colour.
  14. Pazham nirachathu is ready. Serve hot.
