  1. For preparing pepper oysters, take a bowl and mix in pepper, salt, ginger-garlic paste, garam masala and lime juice with a little water if required. 2)Allow the oysters to marinate in the above mixture overnight.(keep the remaining marinade. Do not throw it away)
  2. Heat oil in a deep frying pan and fry the oysters till golden brown in colour. 4)Remove it and keep it aside.
  3. For the gravy: 5)In the remaining oil add in the curry leaves and ginger-garlic paste. SautT for 30 seconds.
  4. Then add the tomato puree and sautT it for some time till it simmers. 7)Toss in the fried oysters, left over marinade and garam masala.
  5. Pour in half a cup hot water, cover and cook it on low flame till the oysters are done.
  6. Garnish with coriander leaves and pepper. Remove it from the flame.
  7. Pepper oysters is ready. Serve hot.
