  • Chicken(Cut into medium sized pieces) – 1kg
  • Black pepper(according to u r choice) – 1tbsp
  • Crushed pepper – 1/
  • Onion(sliced into 4 pieces, big) – 1no
  • Tomato(Sliced into 4 pieces) – 2nos
  • Ginger 2pieces
  • garlic 6pods
  • Turmeric powder 1/
  • Coriander powder 1tsp
  • Kashmiri Chilly powder – 1tsp
  • Cloves( grambu ) – 4nos
  • Cinnamon(patta) – 1piece
  • Oil 4tbsp
  • Curry leaves/coriander leaves –
  • Salt to taste –
  1. Grind together onion, ginger, garlic, all powders and black pepper corns.Marinate the cleaned chicken pieces with this ground paste and salt . Keep it aside for 30 minutes.Blend the tomatoes separately and keep it aside.
  2. Cook the marinated chicken in a pan (cover it)over Low Flame Till The Chicken Pieces Are Three Forth Cooked And Make It Dry.
  3. Heat oil in a kadai/fry pan and add cloves, cinnamon and the crushed pepper.Saute it for a few seconds.Then add curry leaves.
  4. Add the tomato paste and salt , stir well until oil separates.
  5. Finally add the cooked chicken pieces, mix well till the masalas are coated with the pieces and become dark brown colour.
  6. Transfer the chicken to the serving dish.Enjoy the peppered chicken with chapatis, roti and rice.
