& Peas Salad With Walnuts
A quick and healthy salad
Potatoes : 3 nos –
: 2 nos –
Peas shelled : 1 cup –
chopped : 2(optional) –
Walnuts chopped : 50 gm –
Mayonnaise : 4 –
to taste –
Freshly ground black pepper : few –
Boil the potatoes and cut into small cubes.
Slice the carrots into ¼” thick round pieces.
Steam the carrots and peas together in a microwave with a little
Blanch the peas & carrots in cold
after they are cooked to retain the color and drain off all the excess
Mix the boiled potatoes, carrots, peas, chopped
, freshly ground black pepper and mayonnaise together well.
Transfer to a serving dish and garnish with chopped walnuts.
