Instructions
  1. First extract the tamrind and a make a thick paste of tamarind pulp and rice flour,consistency being that of a idli batter. Take a heavy kadai and heat 4 teaspoon of oil.season it with mustard,red chillies and hing. Once the mustards start cracking add the readied mixture of tamarind pulp and rice flour. Let the mixture cook in sim for sometime,if requires add little oil for roasting. Once the upma is roasted and cooked it can be served.
