  • Urad dal - 1 tblsp
  • Tamarind(very small) -
  • Asafeotida - 1 pinch
  • Oil (for seasoning) -

  • Mustard - 1/4 tsp

Instructions
  1. Peel and cut pumpkin in small pieces
  2. In pan add oil and fry roast urad dal and red chili in golden brown color and keep aside to cool
  3. In same pan add oil and cook pumpkin till soft. and allow to cool
  4. In mixer add red chili and coconut and asafeotida grind well
  5. And add pumpkin and tamarind and salt and blend smoothly
  6. Now Add urad dal and coarsely in pulse. And Season mustard with oil
  7. Now its ready Pumpkin thogayal. serve with hot rice or dosa or idly any other as your wish.
