Instructions
  1. For preparing pumpkin in spicy tomato sauce, heat oil in a deep frying pan.
  2. Splutter cumin seeds and mustard seeds.
  3. Add in the onion and garlic. Saute for 5 minutes.
  4. Then add turmeric powder, chilly powder, coriander powder, cumin powder and salt. Saute for 2 minutes.
  5. Add the pumpkin and half cook it.
  6. Then add in the tomato puree and chopped tomatoes into the pan. Mix well.
  7. Pour water and cover the pan. Allow it to simmer until the sauce thickens.
  8. Stir in the coriander leaves and garam masala. Allow it to cook for until the pumpkin becomes tender.
  9. Pumpkin in spicy tomato sauce is ready. Serve as a side dish.
