Instructions
  1. For preparing quail vattichathu, pound the green chillies and keep it aside.
  2. Heat coconut oil in a vessel and sautT onions, ginger-garlic paste, salt and pounded green chillies for 2 minutes on low flame.
  3. Add in turmeric powder and garam masala. Saute it for 1 minute.
  4. Toss in the quail, curry leaves and potatoes with required water. Allow it to cook till the water evaporates.
  5. Pour in the coconut milk and coriander leaves. Allow the gravy to thicken and remove it from the flame.
  6. In another vessel heat coconut oil, sautT the shallots till it becomes a bit brown. Toss it into the quail dry with lime juice and mix it well.
  7. Quail vattichathu is ready. Serve hot with chapati.
