  • All purpose flour(sifted, Maida) – 1 1/2cups
  • Raspberries(finely chopped) – 1/2cup
  • Chocolate chips – 5tbsp
  • Eggs – 3nos
  • Butter – 227g
  • Sugar 200g
  • Baking powder(sifted) – 1tsp
  • Raspberry essence – 1/2tsp
  • Vanilla Essence – 1/2tsp
  • Lemon zest(grated) – 1/2tsp
  • Lemon juice – 1/2tsp
  • Salt(A pinch) –
  1. For preparing raspberry cake with chocolate, preheat the oven to 175 degrees celcius.
  2. Beat butter and sugar till the sugar dissolves completely.
  3. Add eggs, beat with an egg beater till it becomes white and fluffy.
  4. Then add raspberry essence, maida, vanilla essence and baking powder to the above butter mixture. Mix it well.
  5. Toss in the cubed raspberries, lemon zest, salt, chocolate chips and lime juice. Mix it well and keep it aside.
  6. Grease a cake tin and pour the raspberry cake batter into it. Bake it till done.
  7. Allow the cake to cool completely then remove it from the tin.
  8. Raspberry cake with chocolate is ready.
