  1. For preparing rogan josh, mix lemon juice, salt, curd, garlic, ginger paste in mutton and keep it overnight.
  2. Saute cumin seeds, cardamom for 2 minutes.
  3. Add onion and fry it. Add coriander powder, cumin powder, chilly powder. Then add marinated mutton and fry for 5 minutes.
  4. Add tomato, tomato puree, curd and water. Cook it with required salt.
  5. When done, decorate with bay leaves.
