  • Salmon fish fillet(cut into 3 inch chunks) - 1/2 kg
  • Potatoes(cut into wedges) - 4 nos
  • Mayonnaise - 1/4 cup
  • Yogurt - 1/4 cup
  • Parsley(chopped) - 1 tbsp
  • Mustard paste - 1 tsp
  • Cayenne pepper(A pinch) -
  • All purpose flour(Maida) - 3 tbsp
  • Corn flour - 1 tbsp
  • Lemon juice - 4 tbsp
  • Pepper powder(As reqd) -

Instructions
  1. For preparing salmon fish and chips, first marinate the potato wedges in pepper powder and salt.
  2. Heat oil in a vessel and roast the potatoes until it becomes tender and golden brown.
  3. In another bowl, mix in mayonnaise, yogurt, parsley, mustard paste and cayenne pepper. Keep this tartar sauce aside.
  4. In a plate combine maida, corn flour, required salt and 1/2 teaspoon black pepper. Keep this dry mixture aside.
  5. Heat olive oil in a non-stick frying pan over medium-high heat.
  6. Dip the salmon in the above dry mixture and fry the salmon on low flame till done.
  7. Pour the lemon juice over the fried salmon fillets.
  8. Salmon fish and chips are ready. Serve with potatoes and tartar sauce.
