  • Salmon fillets(cleaned) - 1/2k g
  • Basmati rice - 1 cup
  • Eggs(boiled and slit into 4 halves) - 3 nos
  • Butter - 1 tsp
  • Oil(As reqd) -
  • Lemon zest - 1 tbsp
  • Onion(finely chopped) - 1 no
  • Coriander powder - 1 tsp
  • Turmeric powder(A pinch) -
  • Cumin powder(Jeerakam) - 1/2 tsp
  • Water(As reqd) -
  • Lime juice - 1 tbsp
  • Coriander leaves(finely chopped) - 6 springs

Instructions
  1. For preparing salmon with rice, take a baking tray, add in salmon, lemon zest, salt and a little water(for the fish to cook). Bake it till the fish cooks.
  2. Heat oil and butter in a pan. Add in onion, salt, coriander powder and turmeric powder. Fry for 1 minute in low flame.
  3. Add in the basmati rice and 2 cups of water. Allow it to cook in low flame till the rice absorbs the water.
  4. Meanwhile flake the salmon with a fork .
  5. Once the rice is cooked add the flaked salmon.
  6. Garnish with boiled eggs, coriander leaves and lime juice.
  7. Salmon with rice is ready. Serve hot.
