  • Water chestnuts(finely chopped) - 25 g
  • Chinese chives(finely chopped) - 1 tsp
  • Pine nuts(roasted) - 25 g
  • White Pepper - 1/2 tsp
  • Lettuce(washed) - 6 nos
  • Pepper powder - 1/2 tsp
  • Groundnut oil - 1 tbsp
  • Salt(As reqd) -

Instructions
  1. For preparing san choy bau, heat oil in a vessel and stir-fry the chicken for 1 minute.
  2. Add water, chestnuts and chives. Allow it to cook for 2 minutes.
  3. Toss in the pine nuts and cook for 1 minute.
  4. Stir in salt and pepper.
  5. Place a spoonful of the mixture in the centre of the lettuce leaf and fold the lettuce leaf to make a small roll.
  6. San choy bau is ready. Serve immediately.
