Simple Sponge Cake
Simple and soft cake for a snack
All purpose flour
For preparing simple sponge cake, sift maida 3 times to free it from lumps or air. Keep it aside.
Melt butter on low heat and keep it aside.
Take a bowl and break the eggs. Add in
and beat it well till fluffy.
Gently fold in the maida.
Add the melted butter and fold it in.
Pour the batter into a baking tin and bake it for 20 to 30 minutes in a preheated oven of 200 celsius.
Remove it from the oven and allow it to cool.
Simple sponge cake is ready. Serve with tea as a snack.
