Tapioca has a special place in Kerala cuisine.It consider to be a staple food of Kerala.Here I’m going to share a simple but Spicy Kappa puzhungiyathu.It goes well as a side dish for chappathi and curries of your choice.

  1. Take a blender and add garlic,shallots,bird eye chilly and fennel seed.
  2. Grind it to a coarse paste
  3. Take a vessel and add cooked tapioca,turmeric powder,water and mash it with a wooden spatula.
  4. Add the ground coconut mixture,combine well.when it starts boil remove it from the flame.
  5. Simply spicy kappa puzhukk is ready now.
