  • Snake guard(Padavalanga) – 250gm
  • Gram flour(Kadalapodi) – 50gm
  • Rice flour – 25gm
  • Chicken – 100gm
  • Onion 1no
  • Coriander leaves(A little) –
  • Salt(As reqd) –
  • Chilly powder – 15gm
  • Coriander powder 20gm
  • Oil for frying –
  1. Peel the skin off the snake guard and core the seeds.
  2. Heat oil in a pan.
  3. Add chopped onions followed by masalas and cook the masala.
  4. Add the minced chicken and cook for some more time.
  5. Add chopped coriander leaves.
  6. Stuff the cooked chicken inside the snake guard tightly.
  7. Cut the snake guard into roundels of 1/2 inch thickness.
  8. Make batter ready by adding flour salt and water.
  9. Dip the cut snake guard into the batter.
  10. Deep fry in hot oil.
  11. :- Serve.
  12. :- You can use vegetables in place of chicken also.
