  • Chicken(cleaned and chopped) – 1kg
  • Soya chunks – 3cups
  • Potato(peeled, boiled and mashed) – 3big
  • Onions(chopped finely) – 2nos
  • Tomatoes(chopped) – 2nos
  • Ginger(garlic paste – 1 1/2 tbsp) –
  • Chilly powder – 2tbsp
  • Garam masala 1tbsp
  • Lemon juice – 2tbsp
  • Coriander leaves(finely chopped) – 10springs
  • Water(As reqd) –
  • Oil(As reqd) –
  • Salt(As reqd) –
  1. For preparing soya chunks chicken curry, boil salt water in a vessel, add the soya chunks and keep it closed for 5 to 10 minutes.
  2. Drain the chunks and squeeze well. 3)Heat oil in a vessel and saute onions.
  3. When it becomes transparent, add in the ginger-garlic paste.
  4. Then add the tomatoes and salt. Saute till the tomatoes become mushy on low flame.
  5. Add in the chunks, potatoes, chicken, garam masala and chilly powder. Saute for some time on low flame.
  6. Pour enough water for the potatoes and the chicken to cook.
  7. Allow it to become thick and pour lime juice when done. Mix well.
  8. Garnish with coriander leaves and remove it from the flame.
  9. Soya chunks chicken curry is ready. Serve hot with chappathi, rice, bread, etc.
