  • Corn flour(roasted) –
  • Eendhu podi(roasted and powdered) –
  • Salt(As reqd) –
  • Water(As reqd) –
  • Shark(As reqd) –
  • Turmeric powder 1/4tsp
  • Oil(As reqd) –
  • Onions(chopped) – 2nos
  • Green chillies(chopped) – 3nos
  • Chilly powder – 1tsp
  • Coconut(grated) –
  • Egg(beaten) –
  • Coriander leaves(As reqd) –
  1. For preparing special puttu, mix corn flour and eendhu podi. Sprinkle salt water and wet it. Keep it aside.
  2. Cook shark with salt, turmeric powder and water. Remove the bones and mince it. Keep it aside.
  3. Fry onions, green chillies, coconut, eggs and coriander leaves in oil.
  4. Add in the minced shark. Mix well and remove it from the flame.
  5. Put the powder, then put in the masala in a puttu mould and steam it.
  6. Special puttu is ready. Serve hot.
