Instructions
  1. For preparing spicy coconut mutton gravy, heat oil in a pressure cooker.
  2. Fry till brown and grind it into a fine paste. Keep this masala paste aside.
  3. In another vessel fry the grated coconut with small onions till golden brown in colour. Allow it to cool and grind it to a fine paste.
  4. In the same pressure cooker oil, sautT the onions till it becomes transparent.
  5. Add chilly powder, coriander powder, salt, turmeric powder and the ground masala paste. Saute it well for 5 minutes on low flame.
  6. Toss in the mutton pieces with required water and allow it to cook till it becomes tender.
  7. Pour in the ground coconut paste, tamarind juice and coconut milk to the cooked muton. Mix it well and allow it to simmer for 10 minutes.
  8. Spicy mutton gravy is ready. Serve hot with rice or chappathi.
