  • Onion(chopped, big) - 1 no
  • Cumin seeds(Jeerakam) - 1/2 tsp
  • Cinnamon(Karugapatta) - 1 inch
  • Cloves(Grambu) - 4 nos
  • Pepper corns - 1/2 tsp
  • Chilly powder - 2 tsp
  • Ginger(chopped) - 1/2 inch
  • garlic - 7 cloves
  • Vinegar - 1 1/2 tbsp
  • Salt(As reqd) -

Instructions
  1. For preparing spicy coconut oysters , blend all the ingredients under to grind: cumin seeds, cinnamon, cloves, pepper corns and chilly powder to a fine powder.
  2. Add in the onion, ginger, garlic, vinegar and salt and blend it again to a fine paste. Keep it aside.
  3. Heat oil in a deep frying pan, saute the ground paste on low flame for 1 minute.
  4. Toss in the oysters and mix it well. Allow it to cook on low flame with required water.
  5. Add in the grated coconut and allow it to simmer till the water evaporates.
  6. Spicy coconut oysters is ready. Serve hot.
