  1. For preparing spicy payar thoran, first heat oil in a kadai. Splutter mustard seeds.
  2. Crush onion, dry chillies and garlic. Add this to oil and saute. Add long beans and fry again.
  3. Add salt and little water. Cook well in low flame.
  4. When done, add coconut grated and mix well.
  5. Oil should be separated from it.
  6. Spicy payaru thoran is ready.
