For seasoning:-
  1. Boil moong dal and spinach in the cooker and allow 2 whistles.
  2. :- It can be put in the same vessel.
  3. Grind the green chillies, pepper, grated coconut and cumin seeds.
  4. Pour 2 tsp of cooking oil in a wide mouthed vessel (kadai).
  5. Splutter mustard seeds and saute dry red chillies.
  6. Add the cooked dal-spinach mixture and put salt and the above paste.
  7. Let it cook for 5 mins, stirring in regular intervals.
  8. Add asafoetida.
  9. Enjoy !!!!
