Instructions
  1. For preparing split black gram gravy, first cook split black gram in water and salt in a pressure cooker.
  2. After it is done, add lemon juice and mix well.
  3. Heat ghee in a vessel.
  4. Splutter in cumin seeds and mustard seeds.
  5. Add in onion, dry red chillies, asafoetida, curry leaves, green chillies, ginger and garlic. Allow it to cook for 1 minute.
  6. Then add the seasoning to the cooked split black gram.
  7. Garnish with cilantro.
  8. Split black gram gravy is ready. Serve hot with chapathi.
