Instructions
  1. For preparing steamed coconut shells, clean the shells well.
  2. Heat oil in a pan and saute the onions for 5 minutes on low flame. Add in the ginger-garlic paste and cook for some time.
  3. Add the coriander powder and cumin seeds. Saute for some time on low flame.
  4. Then add the poppy seeds, sesame seeds and grated coconut. Saute for 1 minute. Allow it to cool and then grind the spices with a little water to make a coarse paste.
  5. Mix the shredded beef, tomato, curry leaves, coriander leaves, peanuts, chilly powder and salt into the spice paste. Allow the water to evaporate if there is water.
  6. Stuff each coconut shell with the beef mixture.
  7. Steam it for 5 minutes and remove it.
  8. Steamed coconut shells are ready. Remove the mixture from the shell and serve hot with rice as a side dish.
