  • Potatoes(peeled and cubed) - 3 nos
  • Butter - 1 tbsp
  • Cream - 4 tbsp
  • Thyme(finely chopped) - 1 spring
  • Mustard sauce - 1 tbsp
  • Soya Sauce - 1 tbsp
  • Cheddar cheese(grated) - 1/2 cup
  • Pepper powder(As reqd) -

Instructions
  1. For preparing strip steaks with cheddar cheese, first marinate the strip steaks with mustard sauce, soya sauce, pepper powder and salt for 1/2 an hour.
  2. Heat olive oil in a pan and fry the marinated steak on both the sides on low flame till evenly done.
  3. Meanwhile cook the potatoes with salt and water till it becomes tender. Drain the water.
  4. Mash the potatoes using the back of the fork and put it into a bowl.
  5. Add in butter, cream, thyme, pepper powder and salt(if required). Mix it well and keep it aside.
  6. Spread grated cheddar cheese in a plate and place the fried strip steaks.
  7. Strip steaks with cheddar cheese is done. Serve with the mashed potato mix.
