Ingredients
  • Ripe bananas(Nenthrapazham) – 1kg
  • Allpurpose flour(Maida) – 200gm
  • Rice flour(Ari podi) – 200gm
  • Coconut 1no
  • Cardamom(Elakka) – 3
  • Cashews(As reqd) –
  • Raisins(As reqd, Onakkamunthiri) –
  • Sugar(As reqd) –
  • Salt(As reqd) –
  • Oil(for frying) –
Instructions
  1. Heat a little oil in a pan.
  2. Lightly roast the grated coconut, raisins, cashews and sugar in it.
  3. Split the banana vertically from the middle into two portions.
  4. Fill them with the coconut mixture.
  5. Make a thick batter with maida, rice flour, salt and water.
  6. Dip the stuffed bananas into this batter.
  7. Fry them in hot oil, until done.
