Gulab jamun is an Indian dessert dish that can be made in various ways. One such variation is to use sweet potatoes, to give a lovely texture and a little vitamin C. its easy and simple to do.

  1. Mash sweet potato and keep aside
  2. Now add ghee mix well
  3. Now add salt and maida mix and make soft dough
  4. Now in heavy bottom vessels add sugar and water and cardamom powder bring to boil and make syrup
  5. Now in other pan add oil and heat well. in mean time make small balls of dough and keep aside
  6. Now drop four in oil and make sure its should not burn . Fry it till it becomes golden brown
  7. Now Soak in sugar syrup and leave for 15 minutes and transfer to other bowl
  8. Now its ready to serve
