  • Sword fish fillets – 4nos
  • Milk 1cup
  • Eggs – 2nos
  • All purpose flour(Maida) – 1 1/2cups
  • Cornmeal – 1/4cup
  • Parsley(finely chopped) – 2tbsp
  • Hamburger buns – 4nos
  • Lettuce 4nos
  • Tomato(sliced) – 1no
  • Slice cheese – 4slices
  • Mayonnaise – 1/2cup
  • Lemon juice – 1tbsp
  • Tabasco sauce – 2drops
  • Pepper powder(As reqd) –
  • Oil(As reqd) –
  • Salt(As reqd) –
  1. For preparing sword fish sandwich, in a bowl, whisk together milk and eggs. Keep it aside.
  2. Take another bowl and mix in maida, cornmeal and parsley.
  3. Marinate the sword fish fillets with salt and pepper powder.
  4. Heat oil in a deep frying pan.
  5. Dip the marinated fish fillets in the egg mixture and then coat it with the flour mixture evenly.
  6. Fry the fish fillets on medium flame till both the sides turn golden brown in colour.
  7. Remove it from the pan and drain it on a tissue paper to absorb excess oil.
  8. In another small bowl whisk together mayonnaise, lemon juice and tabasco sauce.
  9. Slice the buns and spread the above mixture on the insides.
  10. Place a fillet on each bottom bun, then top with the lettuce, tomato and slice cheese.
  11. Sword fish sandwich is ready. Serve with ketchup.
